Are you caring for a loved one living with dementia? Are you looking for training to increase your competency working with seniors and family caregivers? Are you a facility that needs assistance with delivering training to staff and family caregivers?
We offer FREE group presentations on Alzheimer’s disease basics. We provide resources and educate family caregivers on day-to-day challenges of providing care for a person living with dementia, self-care, and advocacy. We also do FREE presentations on The Five Wishes for advance care planning.
With our paid care management services, we help families identify appropriate care settings, including memory care units, for loved ones who are no longer able to safely live at home. We assist long-distance caregivers by being their eyes and ears and acting as a surrogate family member to ensure that their loves are properly cared for and receiving the best quality of services.
Additionally, Dr. Roker is certified to teach the Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Seminar, which is one of the requirements for certification as a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP®) through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners. The target audience for this training is professionals who work with employees who work with dementia populations. There is a fee for the Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Seminar.
